Description: How does one create an effective teapot that pours without dripping, is easy to handle and is aesthetically pleasing? Andrew Sanders has made 1000’s of wheel-thrown teapots throughout his career as a studio potter and has developed skillful techniques in both construction and glazing which he will share in this demonstration. Also, if you have made a T-pot that you believe has some issues, please bring it and we will trouble-shoot it as a group. After the demo there will be time for questions and answers, as well as, some social time for attendees to enjoy, you guessed it, tea and snacks. Limit to 12 attendees.
What to Bring: a teapot you’d like to discuss (if you have it, but not required) - something for note taking.
Please note, this demonstration is the inaugural event for NMPCA’s new Interactive Initiative Project. Sign up to support this new venture!
