New Mexico Potters and Clay Artists (NMPCA) has had many events over the past 50 years, our gallery page shows past workshop, volunteer camps, social events, and other activities promoting ceramics, clay and sculpture. We are a vibrant organization of 200 member through out the state.


Ghost Ranch Workshop 2024

This was a 3 day workshop  August 23-25 2024

New Mexico Connection 

Workshop Presenters: Lee Akins, Barbara Campbell, 

Kerry Halasz, and Sheryl Zachariah

Workshop Description:  

-Lectures, discussion, demonstrations and hands-on instruction with New Mexico artists. 

-All taking place over three days in the magnificent natural and historical setting that is Ghost Ranch. -Plus, evening social times communing with fellow potters and clay artists.

Description:  Three days of discussion, technique demonstrations and hands-on work with James Watkins.  Evening social times communing with colleagues in clay.  All in the magnificent natural and historical setting that is Ghost Ranch.

Volunteer Camp 

Keep an eye out for Volunteer Camp, it is an opportunity to meet other members, and prepare the Ghost Ranch ceramic studio for the upcoming season.  We clean, organize, test the kilns,  make sure the studio is in working order.  below are some links to past meetings.
