Exploring Pots for the Woodfire Aesthetic and The Kazegama Kiln: Construction,Firing, Wood and Soda Ash


Please join NMPCA at Paseo Pottery for this collaborative event. This presentation and fundraising event for The Village Potters, Asheville, NC, supports their efforts to rebuild following a devastating flood in September 2024. Learn about their rebuilding process and progress, and, about their experience with “Kazie” , their Kazegama kiln. The kiln fuses traditional and modern firing techniques to create beautiful wood fired effects in one day.
